Lines of Salt

Her hellish heels are always hitting me from every side
Her non-embellishing peels are only knitted for one ride
And I relish in thought of the decisions she'll steal tonight
He's felt the wheel running in his mind
He looks into her eyes, He knows it's time
Yeah, she might be the Devil
And I will be the anvil
A Devil's trap won't work
Nor this water I brought blessed by the Earth
So I go to every single room and lay lines of salt for you
I don't know how you got through
One thing I know it will be over soon
I got you alone, out of your throne
But I know now, I can't go home
Yeah, she might be the devil
And I will be the anvil
Set fire to the tires
Set fire to the tires
Set fire

Would it be wrong if I traveled against your plain
What will I gain by going this way
Or will my valor fade
My armor shall protect me from this wave
And my piety will destroy any enemy in play
And I will do this forever
Back on the road I've been traveling on
So many ways to stray
Bury my skin against my bones
That is the only way
What should I bring to the table?
Or have the scraps been saved?
Let me make one thing clear now
I won't go unsaved
And I will do this forever
And I will do this
Forever, Forever
No, no you'll never go hungry again
No, no you'll never go hungry

Upon the shores we meet the guardian
And contumacy was the only reason
A pagan has been placed no not for his race
No he's not sure
They'll probably send him to the undergloom
And these skies have different stars
And it doesn't really feel like home
This rustic mount was an island
It was invoking muses to describe the land within
And of the second kingdom I will sing
As you ascend to Heaven while the spirit purges
And the angels will ring
And these skies have different stars
Doesn't really feel like home
You called for help and you knew there was ice outside
but I drove across that bridge just for you
But guess what happened?
I crashed through the guardrail into the lake
And you felt the water rising in
you knew there was no coming back
The spirits we're holding me down
trying to show me what I was given
You let them in
And these skies have different stars
Doesn't really feel like home
As I was going down in this lake
I knew I had to leave something just for you
So I decided to write a note, a letter
on windshield by scratching my claws
But I could only leave three letters for you girl
There was an I, a heart, and a U
Just three letters

Some days the waves will take you all the way
And other days it will drop you off right in the bay
You need to learn to make a friend with your surroundings
Just give it a chance, give it a chance
With the highest waves coming down
I feel the slightest break, Hang 10
Now I know to accomplish this I'll need my best
this is not a simple quest, Hang 10
At the point where the wave never makes a sound
All ten toes are pointed down
If you want a change, do it over in the east bay,
especially on this gloomy day
And usually when I stare into the distance
Suddenly clouds of black are tarring over my horizon.
With the highest waves coming down
I feel the slightest break, Hang 10
Now I know to accomplish this I'll need my best
This is not a simple quest, Hang 10
At the point where the wave never makes a sound
All ten toes are pointed down
And I'm on top of the world
Never coming down
I don't want to face my reality back on the beach
Back on the beach

Should of seen you coming from miles away
I see the way you lay upon your perch
I love the way that you lurk
Your fame precedes you
I've been warned about you
But I will still go through with it
If not for the experience
As I approach your pillar not as a killer
But as an interested friend
Baby, you know this is the end
You picked me up, then you dropped me down
You take a sip from your cup while I float face down
You picked me up then you fucking dropped me down
So we're together now it's better than I've ever dreamed
But those clouds can be deceiving
You've made a permanent memory of this by carving our initials in the tree down by the lonely brook
It's someone else's name
How could you betray your only friend?
I guess Baby, you know this is the end
You picked me up then you dropped me down
You take a sip from your cup while I float face down
You picked me up then you fucking dropped me down!
Should of seen you coming from miles away
